Dave Carroll first opened a Bujinkan Dojo in Dublin in the mid-1980’s. Over the years the dojo has been located in Stewart’s Pavilion, Palmerstown, Litton Lane, Aughrim Street and now at Kilcock, Co. Kildare.

Dave is also a black-belt in Shotokan Karate and has represented Ireland on the International Circuit.

His student Rob McDonnell expanded the club to University College Dublin, launching UCD Ninjutsu in 2000.

Over the past almost 40 years, hundreds of students have passed through the Carroll Dojo and are now spread worldwide in the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe and Japan.

Students of Carroll Dojo come from all professions from Military, Law Enforcement and Private Security to I.T. Gurus, Medical Research and Aero-Space Research.

Classes at the Carroll Dojo specialise in the application of traditional budo to modern, ‘real-live’ scenarios.
